Help Us Keep Australian Hospital Information Accurate
Hospital details change often. A switchboard number may be replaced, a clinic may move, visiting hours may be updated or a hospital may move appointment information to a new portal. Corrections from users and hospital teams are an important part of our quality system.
What to Send
- The aussihospitals.org/ page URL that needs updating.
- The exact detail that appears wrong: address, phone, appointment link, patient portal, visiting info, map note, department contact or hospital name.
- The correct detail and an official source URL where possible.
- Whether the change is urgent because patients may travel to the wrong location or call a disconnected number.
- Your role, if you are contacting us on behalf of a hospital, health service, clinic or department.
Correction Priority

How We Update a Page
- Log the correction.We record the page, field and reported source.
- Verify with official sources.We check hospital-controlled, state/territory or national official pages before updating.
- Update the article.We revise the incorrect detail, update the last-reviewed note and preserve neutrality.
- Avoid unsafe advice.We do not turn correction requests into medical or treatment advice.
- Reply when useful.Where contact details are provided, we may confirm that a factual correction was handled.
