Building Hospital Directory Pages That Are Easier to Use
Hospital information is often searched under stress. Our accessibility goal is simple: make pages readable, mobile-friendly, keyboard-friendly and usable by people who rely on assistive technology.
Accessibility Goals
- Clear headings and short sections for screen-reader navigation.
- High contrast text and buttons.
- Responsive layout with no horizontal scroll on small mobile screens.
- Descriptive link text, especially for official hospital pages and correction/contact links.
- Tables wrapped for mobile overflow and readable on phones.
- No essential information hidden only in images.
Known Limitations
Some external official-source pages, maps, appointment portals or embedded services may not meet the same accessibility standard. Those services are controlled by third parties. We still try to provide text context and official links so users have a practical route forward.
Report an Accessibility Problem
If a page is difficult to use with a keyboard, screen reader, zoom, mobile device or assistive technology, email us. Include the page URL, the issue, your device/browser and any assistive technology you used.
Report Accessibility Issue
We review accessibility issues as editorial-quality problems, not just technical bugs.
